The present work describes a comparative analysis of pressures and aerodynamic forces over the deck of Grande Ravine viaduct, at Reunion Island, based on full-scale measurements and wind tunnel tests of a sectional model. It is intended to use full-scale monitoring to validate the methodologies used in the design of slender structures, evidencing in particular the necessity of an adequate reproduction of flow turbulence conditions during physical model tests.
