Control parameters study of a laser cladding laboratory system

ABSTRACT:
This paper presents the control parameter study of an LASER Cladding laboratorial equipment. It is crucial to study the influence of manufacture control parameters in the mechanical proprieties and durability of mechanical components to responding to the demands of industry as aeronautic, naval, metallurgical, moulds, biomedical, etc. It is discussion the Ti52Ta deposition tests results, were the process parameters as LASER Power P, distance from the substrate to the LASER focus - F distance from the nozzle to the fusing bath - d, angle of incidence - α and coating length - C, were kept constant. An influence study of parameters such as penetration, cord height, coating angle, dilution and deposition efficiency is present.
